What does a typical training look like?
First, we will discuss your team's needs, Second, you can choose either evening training or weekend workshops. Third, we will then select the classes, dates, and times of your training. The goal is to dig deep into God’s Word! He alone gives us wisdom and understanding. Your team will be better trained to do the work of the ministry and encouraged to stay the course.
How much does it cost?
Edify KidMin is a non-profit ministry.
Jamie and Tabitha raise support as full-time missionaries serving you, the local church! We want to be able to serve the local church without any financial burden to that church.
Love gifts are welcome and appreciated.
Where are the training classes held?
We come to you!
As a ministry to the local Church, we travel to you and bring training and encouragement to your children’s ministry. The training classes or workshops will be held at your church unless specified at a different location.
What if I miss a training session?
That’s ok!
We understand life happens and most of our sessions have been recorded so that you can watch the training and not miss a beat. But we highly encourage in-person attendance.
Can anyone attend the training?
We suggest that anyone serving in the Children’s Ministry or Youth Ministry, whether paid or volunteer, attend the training. Depending on the situation or class being taught, you may feel called to open up the training to parents. We can all sharpen our skills and grow in our gifting.
Can I choose what training classes I want?
Yes!
We have many classes to pick from and fill the needs of your team.
We do suggest however that you begin with our Foundational Series. This training establishes the Biblical Basis for Children’s Ministry, the Gospel message, and Counseling a Child for Salvation.
It has been said, “If you can share the gospel with a child, you can share with anyone.”
