Session 15: Special Friends (disabilities)
Many churches struggle with how to serve and welcome families whose children may need more support to join the class. This class takes some of the guesswork out and will help your team establish a biblical foundation for serving every family that walks through your doors.
Session 16: Discipleship (saved child)
Discipleship is so important to the health of the church and your children’s ministry. In this class, we will look at ways to disciple your saved children, come alongside parents, and increase your reach beyond Sunday and Wednesday.
Session 17: Child Protection & Saftey
We live in a world where understanding child protection and the safety of our children are on the top of our lists. We also want to protect those serving in the ministry. This class covers the basics of Child Protection, what your team needs to be aware of, how to keep children safe, and what to do in case of emergency or abuse.
Session 18: Family Connection
Part of discipleship in the church is connecting with the families in your ministry. We want to come alongside them, the parents and guardians, to encourage and build up the family. Help them train their children at home and give them the tools to do so. A practical guide on how to do this in your church.
Session 19: Basics of Biblical Counseling
Why do people seek counsel? Usually, it is because they have a problem or a question and they are seeking advice, help, or solutions from someone they believe has those answers. Peter tells us, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." (2 Peter 1:3; NIV). We have the answers that people are looking for; they are found in God’s Word! Apply Biblical Counseling principles to your life and ministry.
Session 20: Training to Grow - Leaders
The church is full of leaders and future leaders! How can your team begin to raise up the next generation to serve in the church? This class will answer this question and more!
Session 21: Helpers in the Classroom
The church needs helpers in the class! There are many in the church with a specific gift, the gift of helps! This class will help train helpers in the classroom to serve the kids, the teachers, and the leaders. Practical application and training! (Can be adapted for teens only)
Session 22: How to share your Testimony
Your testimony is special! It is yours alone! God can use your personal testimony combined with the gospel message to lead others to Christ. This class is great for your children’s ministry team and youth ministry. Youth ministry leaders know that many youths fear sharing their faith. But with these gospel-centered tools, they can learn to share the gospel and easily incorporate their testimony to share with friends!
Session 23: Baptism Class for Kids
How to counsel a child who has expressed the desire to be baptized. That we may teach the children, so as not to give a false assurance of salvation. We teach you the right questions to ask, be sure the child is ready, and explain baptism on the child’s level. (Included is a baptism pamphlet to use with children)
Session 24: Biblical Counseling - Children
How to counsel a child who has a problem and is in need of help. How to come alongside the parents to minister to them and equip them to lead their children in the Lord.
Session 25: Crafts and other Messy Things
Children love to play and experience the truth revealed through objects! How can you wisely incorporate crafts, object lessons, and other messy things into your class time? We will discuss the power behind using some of these hands-on object lessons or crafts, how to use them, new ideas, and where to draw the line...glitter is not your friend!
Session 26: Gender Issues Facing our Children and Culture
Our Children are under attack. The enemy is no longer shy about the areas in which he is attacking our children. Sexual identity, Pornography, trans-gender issues, pro-nouns, and a turning away from Biblical design for sex, gender, and marriage. What to know and how to teach your children the truth and protect them from the enemy.
