Four Sessions: Gospel-Centered KidMin

Session 1: Biblical Basis for Children's Ministry
Why do we teach children? Who is called and how do you know? This class will cover the Biblical basis for Children’s ministry in the church. What does Jesus say about children? Dig into God’s Word and the importance of your calling to reach the next generation with the gospel.
Session 2: Sharing the Gospel Message with Kids.
You can share the gospel with children! In this class, you will learn how to use a simple tool, the Wordless Book, to lead children to the saving knowledge of Jesus. (This class can be adapted for youth ministry)
Session 3: Counseling a Child (salvation)
Counseling is a face-to-face ministry using God’s Word. You just shared the gospel message with a child or youth, now what do you do? How do you ask thought-provoking questions and lead them to the next step of faith as they trust Jesus as Savior? (This class can be adapted for youth ministry, along with “How to Share your Testimony” see class below)
Session 4: Other Counseling Situations
When counseling children or youth you may find that every situation is different! You may have a large group, restless children, distractions, and more! What do you do in these situations? How do you protect the child and yourself in these moments of counsel? Find out in this class!
